A removal procedure only by jugular approach

 

The ALN Vena Cava Filter Removal and/or Repositioning Kits are designed to remove ALN Vena Cava Filters with and without a hook, when a patient no longer has an indication requiring filtration. Similarly, they are indicated if a repositioning of the ALN vena cava filter is necessary.

 

The device is available in three options, the choice of use of which depends on the clinical situation:

  • The removal and/or Repositioning Kit / ALN Straight RS, which is used when the filter head is in the lower vena cava axis.
  • Angulated removal and/or Repositioning Kit / ALN Pre-curved RS, which is recommended if the filter head is tilted from the lower vena cava axis.
  • The 2 in 1 / ALN 2 in 1 RS removal and/or repositioning kit, which provides the ability to change the clamp angulation according to the position of the ALN filter in the inferior vena cava

Features of the extraction and/or repositioning kit clamp

  • Made of 316 LVM stainless steel
  • Its consists of 8 strands of different lengths
  • Once the filter head is bumped into the clamp by the push of tht 9F catheter, the ALN vena cava filter with and without hook is secure.
  • Compatible with all ALN vena cava filter product code numbers.

  • A pincer catheter of the chosen reference.
  • A dilator
  • A 9F introducer sheath.
  • A puncture needle
  • A " J " Tip guidewire (0.035).
