The ALN retrieval kit is marketed since end of 1999 ; up to now more than 4000 retrievals of ALN filters were performed.
  
Many publications mention the miscellaneous periods after which the ALN filter has been retrieved thanks to its extraction kit.

To date we have documented retrievals after 24 and 25 months of implantation in France and Italy.
