The company

The ALN company was founded in 1997 by Alain Nigon, previously founder of the company VASCOR.

The ALN devices in particular the Vena Cava Filter have then an experience of more than 16 years now.

At the end of 1999 the ALN company started marketing an Extraction Kit for its Vena Cava filter.
As from this date the ALN Vena Cava filter became Optional (Temporary and/or Permanent).

Lastly the main trump of this ALN Vena Cava Filter lies in its retrieval which is not limited in time (up to now we have documented removals at 24 and 25 months in France and Italy).

The ALN Vena Cava filter offers options thanks to three different approaches (jugular, brachial and femoral).
Since the ALN filter is either a permanent device or a fully removable one at any time, its efficacy is not equalled.

The extraction and/or repositioning kit is a unique mechanism designed to remove or reposition the ALN filter at any time.
