The implantation procedure

The ALN Vena Cava filter is packaged in its definitive spacial shape. Its placement is made easier thanks to the adaptor in which it is  packaged.

- Take  the filter holder
- Remove  the protection cap and place the filter holder in the same axis than the introduction sheath
- Place the tip of the filter holder onto the hub of the introduction sheath
- Screw the filter holder with a quarter-turn
- Push the filter into the introduction sheath
- Withdraw  the empty filter holder by unscrewing with a quater-turn to the left
- Push down  the filter using the pushing catheter
